Client: Arise+ Indonesia

Conducted a study on the movement of natural persons (MNP) within the Indonesia–European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA), focusing on labor mobility opportunities and challenges in professional and health-related services sectors. Analyzed labor market demand, skills shortages, comparative advantages, and potential benefits for Indonesian and EU workers, particularly in engineering, ICT, nursing, and caregiving services. Assessed alternative mobility schemes, including Contractual Service Supplier (CSS) arrangements, and examined regulatory and workforce facilitation mechanisms such as recruitment processes, language training, and skills development support. Developed policy recommendations to strengthen labor mobility cooperation, improve workforce readiness, and support mutually beneficial services trade arrangements between Indonesia and the European Union.
