Conducted a study analyzing Indonesia’s e-commerce and digital trade regulatory framework in the context of the Indonesia–European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA). Examined key regulatory aspects related to cross-border data flows, personal data protection, privacy, data localization, and import duties for digital products, including the compatibility of Indonesia’s regulations with the IEU-CEPA framework. Assessed the implementation of Indonesia’s electronic transaction laws, e-commerce roadmap, and emerging personal data protection regulations in supporting digital trade development. Developed policy analysis and recommendations to strengthen Indonesia’s digital trade governance and align domestic regulations with international trade commitments and best practices.
