The purpose of carrying out the analysis is as follows:

• To map the interests of the two countries in the area of cooperation in Access to Goods (Trade in Goods) and Government Procurement.
• To conduct an assessment of the indicators of Priority Products and the quality of the initial request offer for industrial products, and also in relation to Non-Tariff Barriers to Trade (TBT).
• To formulate strategic recommendations in overcoming Non-Tariff Barriers to the UAE.
• To formulate recommendations for negotiation strategies (defensive and offensive) in the Government Procurement cooperation area.
• To formulate strategic recommendations in increasing investment opportunities for domestic industries through the concept of economic powerhouse and government procurement of goods/services.
