The survey aims to assess two major things: (1) payment flows and behaviors of consumers including the volume and value of payment flows, access points for households and uptake and use of a variety of payment instruments; and (2) the costs associated with the use of retail payment instruments prevalent in Indonesia—cash, debit card, credit card, direct debit, credit transfer, e-money—and their implications on consumers and businesses.
