PT Svara Research Indonesia (Svara Institute), formerly PT Rumah Riset Presisi Indonesia, was established in Jakarta on January 28, 2014 and rebranded on March 22, 2022. The firm conducts research and provides consultancy services to government institutions and the private sectors on economics, business, and management issues.

OUR TEAM
We have experts and researchers in various economics fields, a mix of economists, business consultants and engineer which are beneficial for our wide-ranging policy studies. They are very capable in formulating complex analytical framework and implementing sophisticated and comprehensive methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative. Included in the methods are primary and secondary data collection; formulation, distribution and collection of questionnaires; literature review (including surveying rules and regulations); direct interview; focus group discussion; expert and stakeholder review; econometric and statistical analysis; and other quantitative analytical tools. Apart from our internal pool of experts and researchers, we can also draw experts from our worldwide research networks.
Titik Anas, PhD is a senior economist with over 25 years of experience in economic policy, regulatory and fiscal reform. She leads multidisciplinary research at Svara Institute focusing on trade, investment, regional development, and sustainability, and previously served as Senior Adviser to the Minister of Finance of Indonesia (2020–2024). She holds a PhD and Master’s degree from the Australian National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia
Risa Bhinekawati, PhD is a public policy and sustainable development expert, Founder and Senior Economist at Svara Institute, with over 23 years of leadership experience across corporations, civil society, and policy institutions. Her expertise includes organizational reform, research, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis, with publications on CSR and social capital. She holds degrees from the University of Indonesia, Australian National University, and a PhD in Management from ANU.
Moekti Prasetiani Soejachmoen is a senior economist with a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University. She has held senior roles including Lead Adviser – Market Access for IA-CEPA – ECP Katalis, Chief Economist at PT. Danareksa (Persero), and Head of Mandiri Institute – Bank Mandiri, alongside experience at TNP2K, USAID, CSIS, and Harvard Institute for International Development, as well as lecturing at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia. She has published widely on international trade and global supply chains.
Made Suardhini, SE, MBA is a senior researcher with over two decades of experience in policy research, financial and investment analysis, and development studies. She has led major national and international projects for APEC, ARISE+, and key Indonesian ministries, specializing in sectoral assessments, stakeholder consultations, and policy analysis. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia and an MBA from IPMI/Monash University.
Ida Ayu Erica Pramesty Utami, MBA is a senior researcher and business strategist with over 15 years of experience in policy research, consulting, and investment analysis. At Svara Institute, she has led studies for APEC, ILO, ERIA, and Indonesian agencies, focusing on MSME development, financial inclusion, women’s empowerment, investment, and global value chains. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (cum laude, Universitas Indonesia), and has passed CFA Level I.
Widdi Mugijayani, PhD is a senior economist specializing in labour and skills, digital skills, trade in services, and impact evaluation, with growing focus on the blue economy, green trade, and jobs. She has led and contributed to studies with key Indonesian ministries and international institutions including UNDP, ERIA, and the APEC Secretariat. She holds a PhD from Cardiff University, a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s degree from Padjadjaran University.
Dr. Haryo Aswicahyono is a senior economist with nearly 40 years of experience in trade, industrial policy, and economic development. He was a senior researcher at CSIS Jakarta (1985–2023) and a long-time consultant to KPPU, contributing to major studies on manufacturing, trade competitiveness, and policy reform. He holds a PhD from the Australian National University and has taught at the University of Indonesia and Prasetiya Mulya Business School
Mila Nuh, MA, MS is a Research Associate at Svara Institute specializing in learning facilitation and mindfulness-based approaches, with a focus on community forestry, sustainability, and climate resilience. Her work promotes multi- stakeholder collaboration to advance human rights, gender equality, and community well-being. She holds master’s degrees from Ohio University and is an IDEAS Fellow (2015).
Prasetya Rahman Salim is a Researcher at Svara Institute with two years of research and consulting experience with NGOs such as GAIN, STPI, and Article 33 Indonesia. He has strong expertise in econometrics and data analysis, particularly using Stata and Excel, with experience analyzing survey datasets. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Universitas Padjadjaran and a master's degree in economics from Universitas Indonesia.
Priscillya Hotma is a Research Assistant at Svara Institute, focusing on education, health, and sustainable development policy. She has contributed to applied research with organizations such as Article 33 Indonesia and CEDS Universitas Padjadjaran, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She holds a cum laude Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Padjadjaran and has served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate economics courses.
Sarah Anaba is a Project & Operations Specialist at Svara Institute with expertise in managing multi-stakeholder development projects and performance monitoring. She has proven experience in managing full project lifecycles, coordinating cross- functional teams, and ensuring data-driven delivery across policy and sustainability programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
